Design
The Setai Hotel, particularly its flagship location in Miami Beach, is a harmonious blend of Art Deco elegance and Asian-inspired serenity. Rooted in the historical richness of Miami’s iconic 1930s architecture, the hotel preserves and restores the original Art Deco building while integrating it with a sleek, modern glass tower. This fusion creates a balance between old-world charm and contemporary sophistication. Geometric patterns, bold ornamentation, and original façade elements nod to Miami’s past, while open courtyards, water features, and lush landscaping emphasize a fluid indoor-outdoor experience that connects guests with nature.
Inside, the design draws heavily from Eastern philosophies, emphasizing minimalism, balance, and tranquility. Teak wood, jade, bronze, and black granite—sourced from Asia—are used throughout to establish a serene, earthy palette. Custom furniture, clean lines, and soft lighting reflect Zen influences, creating an atmosphere of understated luxury. Each space, from guest suites to the spa, is carefully curated to support relaxation and wellness, with subtle fragrances, soothing music, and thoughtful lighting enhancing the sensory experience. The result is a timeless, immersive environment that invites peace and presence.
